I just moved this site to Dreamhost so if in a day or two it stops working its because I am still sorting things out, please keep trying it will be back on again.

The reason I changed is nothing to do with my old host as such I think my needs have just outgrown them, the other reason was that I followed Forever Geek’s advice and got it very cheap, thanks mate.

Anyway will post more on my experiences as they happen

I suppose we all new it would happen sometime, and I am only thankful that the casualties were relatively low.

On a side note and not meant to cause disrespect in anyway, has anyone else noticed how conveniently timed this is to take the eyes off of Tony Blair and the G8, if he uses this as the excuse as to why he isn’t fulfilling his promises on Making Poverty History I will be very sad indeed.

I think most people now use this and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was soon incoperated as standard in blogging software.

Havn’t seen this one around much but I do think its a nice idea even though it does still have some shortcomings, like the fact that you can’t change your password once you have submitted your comment.

A really great plugin, adapted from Mr Inmans popular Shortstat, it integrates seamlessly with wordpress and provides detailed current stats.

Another must have, does what it says on the tin.

Very useful, again pretty self explanaterally.

It makes no sense to me that this wasn’t added to Wordpress in the first place, not that it matters this handy plugin will sort that out.

Wp-Gatekeeper

Another barrier to comment spam, the commenter has to answer a simple question.

Finally I have wordpress up and running and can start posting on my own blog in earnest, please saunter on over there and do what you will.

As of now this blog will be left as it is for historical reasons, in fact I am going to copy all the articles across to willmot.org and then close this down

I have just been very busy with projects and have pretty much had to put blogging to the back of my mind. Here is a quick recap of everything I have done since my last post.

1. had a mad new year
2. failed my driving test
3. had a break from my girlfriend Lindsey
4. got back with girlfriend
5. moved out with girlfriend

add a rush of web design work as well as other unrelated work and it creates rather a busy time

anyway I am back and will resume posting so please keep coming back
