A major new version of Geek.com was launched last Monday, the culmination of around 3 months hard graft by Joe Hoyle, myself and some of the awesome guys over at Namemedia. We completely rewrote the back-end of the site so that it is better able to cope with the 1,000,000 odd people a month who visit. We also added several social networking features which should enable the already vibrant forum community to grow and diversify.

hybridforums.com is the newest addition to Namemedia’s growing Enthusiasts Sites division and is the just the latest in a growing list of niche social networks and community sites that we have been working with Namemedia to design, develop and support.

We are happy to announce that the Wordpress powered blog we developed (props to net syndicate for the design) for Perriam & Everett has launched and already has several well written articles gracing its archives.

The Wordpress blog we built for Net Syndicate has now launched, the site provides an easy, stylish way for the guys over there to post news updates and articles.

The Ecopod Holidays website has gone live today, initially the site provides details for the first few campsites that have Ecopods, over time the site will expand and grow as new campsites come on board.

We have been contracted by Netsyndicate LTD to integrate a wordpress powered blog into their existing C.M.S powered corporate site.

An Ecopod is an environmentally friendly, recycled, comfortable, contemporary living space ideal for holidaying in, the chap that creates them, Craig Banks, has asked Edge Designs to provide design and development services for both his ecopods.co.uk domain and a much larger upcoming venture, ecopodholidays.co.uk. We plan on working with Craig for some time as his fledgling business grows and we look forward to helping him create a greener future.

Edge Designs has been hired by Namemedia Inc. a world leader in the acquisition, development and trading of digital real estate through a network of highly targeted websites and a marketplace for premium domain names. We have been working with their highly skilled team since October 2007 leading the development of several niche social networks (hence the silence around here). sharptechnology.co.uk has gone live, the website is a wordpress powered business site with a business orientated blog, news section, and section for the company’s services and case studies. Edge Designs has been chosen by David Swain to design and  build a website to showcase his consultancy services, the site will also include articles that David has had published, lectures that he has given and a blog area.
